The Life and Times of Alex Waitkevick
Photography Exhibit:  “The Life and Times of Alex Waitkevick” by Frank Siteman

During  November three dozen photographs depicting the life of Alex Waitkevich will be on display in the Norfolk Public Library. They are a part of a larger body of work by Frank Siteman, a very successful commercial photographer. Mr. Siteman donated these photographs to the Norfolk Historical Commission earlier this year.
Alex Waitkevich was  a Norfolk farmer who immigrated to the United States from Lithuania in 1905 and bought an old house and 21 acres of land on Campbell Street where he raised his family and lived out his life.  An Opening  Reception of the photo essay will be held on Sunday, Novembr 9th at 2:00 PM. The Commission has invited members of the extended Waitkevich family. friends, and neighbors . Take a few moments and stop by the Library and experience this exciting display.
