Programs and Services for Teens

Write Now! Creative Journaling for Teens (Registration required)
Third Monday of the month (Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 21, Dec. 19)
Grades 7-12

Do you like to write or draw? Come to this monthly program where you can freely express yourself! Writing prompts, rhymes, images, and more will all serve to get your creativity flowing! First time participants will receive a blank composition book to get started. This is a fun, non-graded environment to share your ideas. Registration required. This program will meet the following dates in 2016: September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19.

Why Not YA? Book Club (Registration required)
Every six weeks on a Wednesday (Oct. 5, Nov. 16, Dec. 28)
Ages 13+ and adults

Interested in the latest and greatest in young adult literature? This group is for you! Open to teens 13+ and adults, we will read and discuss a YA book every six weeks. Books will be available at the Circulation Desk. Please bring ideas of YA books you'd like to read with the group! November's book is Unwind by Neal Shusterman.
