College Admissions Workshops
822013_32602_2.jpg
The Norfolk Public Library will be hosting two college admissions programs on August 21, 2014. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, both programs will be facilitated by Lanita Foley, a college admission expert and founder of Where Success Blooms - Educational Consultants.

The first program at 3:00pm is "College Essay Writing Workshop" where Ms. Foley will provide expert guidance, coaching, and encouragement to students, no matter where they are in the essay process. Parent attendance with their student is strongly recommended. This program is open to incoming high school sophmores, juniors, and seniors. Space is extremely limited and registration is required.

At 6:30pm, Ms. Foley will present "Understanding the College Admissions Process." This session will focus on the details and timeline of the application process, how to navigate financial aid requirements, and how parents and teens can collaborate on getting into the best school possible. Registration is strongly recommended and this program is open to parents and high school students.

These programs are not limited to Norfolk residents. All are welcome.  For more information and registration, please visit our calendar page.

This program is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
