Special Programs

Santa’s Workshop
Thursday, December 15  4:30-6:30
Saturday, December 17  10:30-3:30

Come and make holiday decorations in this creative workshop! Members of the Junior Library Council are selling ornament kits priced from 50 cents to $1.50 and are available to help children put their kits together. All proceeds benefit the Junior and Teen Library Councils. No registration required.

Holiday Bake Sale

Need a sweet treat? Members of the Teen Library Council are selling homemade holiday goodies! All proceeds benefit the Junior and Teen Library Councils.

Weekly Programs

Baby Time
Ages 0-16 months with caregiver

Music, play and stories for babies and their caregivers. No meeting on Oct. 10

NEW! Tales for Goslings
Age 0–3 with a caregiver

An interactive program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Join Miss Sarah for music, stories, and more! No meeting on Oct. 10

NEW! Fairy Tale Storytime
Ages 2-5 with caregiver

Join us for a new storytime program that will focus on everything fairy tale! Join Miss Sarah for stories and crafts for the fairy tale lover in your house.

On My Own Storytime
Age 3 and up

An independent story time experience with books, songs, and a hands-on activity. Caregivers must stay in the building, but are encouraged to let children attend the program alone.

Multi-Age Storytime
Age 2 and up with a caregiver

An interactive drop-in story time with songs, games, and a hands-on activity.

Wiggly Ones
Ages 2-5 with caregiver

Join Miss Sarah for a new program that will involve lots of gross stuff that you aren't allowed to play with at home! Paint with spaghetti, make some frighteningly realistic looking snot, and more!

Picnic Playgroup
Age 0–5 with a caregiver

Bring a lunch and enjoy music, stories, and fun. Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care. No meeting on September 16.

Monthly Programs

Ed Morgan Sing-Along
First Tuesday of each month (Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6)
All ages

Join Ed Morgan for a sing-along with great music and dancing. A splendid time for everyone! Caregivers must remain with children. This program begins in October.

Toddler Time (Registration required)
Third Tuesday of each month (Oct. 17, Nov. 15)
Age 12-24 months with caregiver

Hands-on activities, exploration, and imaginative play for toddlers and their caregivers. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program. This program begins in October.

Preschool Play and Learn (Registration required)
Fourth Tuesday of each month (Sept. 27, Oct. 25, Nov. 22)
Age 3-5 with a caregiver

A playgroup for preschoolers and their caregivers. Activities may include tactile play, movement, stories, and crafts. Sponsored by Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Program.

Saturdays with Sarah
Third Saturday of the month
Ages 0-6 with caregiver

Join Miss Sarah for a Saturday storytime and craft, and then stay and play! Enjoy music, rhymes, and more.

Youth programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Norfolk Public Library
