    Each time you finish reading (or listening to) a book, enter the title online at readsinma.org/norfolk. It can be any book of your choice of fiction or non-fiction.  Rate the title and let other readers know what you thought; you can enter up to 12 times. Print out your prize ticket(s), bring them to the library, and place your ticket in the drawing for whichever prize you want most.  Prizes include “Coffee at Home”, “Tea for Two” and  “Chocolate Jar” courtesy of the Friends of the Norfolk Library and Dunkin’ Donuts

Lighthouses have a fascinating history and have held peoples’ interest for centuries. Join Bill Patton for a slide presentation of lighthouses up and down the New England coast at on July 8th at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Patton is a retired college professor and he has many stories to tell about lighthouses and the ships they help to guide and protect.

Join Ed Karle, Norfolk resident & president of the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association for an information packed evening on beekeeping as a hobby. See his fabulous photos, taste many varieties of local honey,and learn what’s happened to honeybees in the past two years since Ed’s last presentation.

Bookmark Contest

Teens, kids and adults are invited to enter our 5th
Annual Bookmark Contest. A team of judges will
select the best design from four different
age groups:
Up to 5 years
6 to 9 years
10 to 12 years
Teens & Adults (that would be you!)

The winner and an honorable mention from each age group will receive a laminated bookmark of their
design. The winning bookmark designs will be printed for distribution in the library and will be posted on the library homepage. A grand prize will be given to the winner from each age group. Blank bookmarks for decorating may be picked up at the library.

All entries must be submitted by Friday, August 1.
