Programs and Services for Teens

Teen Friends of the Library
Second Wednesday of the month   3:30-4:30pm (mandatory general meeting)
Fourth Wednesday of the month   3:30-4:30pm (completely optional book discussion)
Grades 7-12

Join the Teen Friends of the Library to help make the Norfolk Public Library a place where you can be yourself and find stuff you want. We WANT your input!
The Teen Friends have done fundraising in the past, helped at our bake sale, book sale, and some children's programs, along with choosing materials for the library to buy. The payoff? Community service hours (if you need them), meeting new people and new books, and an end-of-the-year sleepover celebration in the library with a scavenger hunt, movie, pizza, and Sardines (reverse hide-and-seek).

Students from ANY town are welcome!

Apply online here and we'll send you details! First meeting is October 7 at 3:30pm. Contact Marissa Antosh, Senior Youth Services Librarian, at

Have an idea for a program you'd like to see at the library? Let us know!
