May/June 2014

Weekly Programs & Monthly Clubs

Bookworms (Registration required)
Fourth Monday of every month
Grades 2–3 with caregiver

A monthly parent-child book club for chapter book readers (usually in the range of 75-150 pages). At our May meeting we will discuss Whatever After: Fairest of All by Sarah Mlynowski. Please read the book before attending. Copies are available at the Circulation Desk. We'll meet again in the fall! *This meeting is rescheduled from April 28.

Kids' Crafternoon
Second, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month
Grades K-5 with caregiver

Get creative at the library! Each session we’ll use a different material and you can make whatever you like with it! Anything from paper to LEGO…see where your creativity takes you!

Word Wizards (Registration required)
First and third Thursday of each month
Grades K-1

Stories and activities to introduce kids to new vocabulary words! We’ll learn at least two new words from a story at each meeting and kids will go home with flashcards with their new words.
