Junior Friends of the Library
STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-6

Join the Junior Friends of the Library to help make the Norfolk Public Library a place where you can be yourself and find stuff you want. We WANT your input! The Junior Friends have done fundraising in the past, helped at our annual book sale, and some children's programs, along with choosing materials for the library to buy. The payoff? Helping out your community, meeting new people and new books, and an end-of-the-year sleepover celebration in the library with a scavenger hunt, movie, pizza, and Sardines (reverse hide-and-seek).

MEETINGS
-The first Wednesday of the month is our mandatory general meeting from 3:30-4:30pm. Dates are subject to adjustment for holidays or school programs.
-The third Wednesday of the month is an optional book discussion, same time, same place. Bring a book suggestion to the meeting and if yours is picked, you get to be the next host (in charge of snacks) the next month.

Students from ANY town are welcome!

Apply online here and we'll send you details! First meeting is October 7 at 3:30pm. Contact Marissa Antosh, Senior Youth Services Librarian, at mantosh@sailsinc.org
