Programs for Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers


Weekly Programs

** Weekly programs will not meet the week of April 16–20. **

Building Blocks
Tuesdays 4:30–5:00
Children 4 and up with a caregiver
Imagine, create, and build anything you can dream of with LEGO. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Baby Time (Registration required)
Wednesdays 10:30–11:00
Children 0–12 months with a caregiver
Stories, rhymes, songs, and play for babies and their caregivers. The current session of Baby Time will end on April 11. The next session of Baby Time will run on Wednesdays from April 25–June 6, with a special Tuesday meeting on June 12. This program is full.

Multi–Age Storytime
Wednesdays 11:15–11:45
Children 2 and up with a caregiver
An interactive drop–in story time with songs, games, and a craft.

On My Own Storytime
Wednesdays 1:30–2:00
Children 3 and up
An independent story time experience with books, songs, and a craft. Parents are asked to stay in the building, but encouraged to let children attend the program alone.

Mother Goose on the Loose
Thursdays 11:00–11:30
Children up to age 3 with a caregiver
A highly interactive program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Join us for songs, rhymes, puppets, lap bounces, and more!

Picnic Playgroup
Fridays 11:30–12:15
Children up to age 5 with a caregiver
Bring a lunch and enjoy music, stories, and fun.  Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
** This program will not meet on April 13. **



Special Events and Monthly Programs

Some programs require registration. These programs may be subject to cancellation if fewer than five participants are enrolled.

Ed Morgan Sing–Along
First Tuesday of every month  10:30–11:00
All ages welcome
Join Ed for singing, dancing, and an all–around great time. No need to register—just drop in!

Preschool Play and Learn (Registration required)
Tuesday, April 24 10:30–11:30
Tuesday, May 22 10:30–11:30
Age 2 1/2–5
A playgroup for preschoolers and their caregivers.  Activities may include tactile play, movement, stories, and crafts.  Sponsored by Community Partnerships for Children. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. The April 24 program is full.

I'm Going to Kindergarten! (Registration required)
Friday, June 8  1:00–2:00
Monday, June 11 6:30–7:30
For children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2012 and their caregivers.
Get ready for the transition to kindergarten with this program featuring stories, hands-on activities, and a short DVD. Sponsored by Community Partnerships for Children.
